Dave Sharp is a professional live speed painter. In front of an audience — in the time it takes to play a song or two — a blank canvas becomes a finished, unmistakable portrait. It looks like chaos, right up until it doesn’t.
Every performance is painted live to a soundtrack and finished in under ten minutes — the subject chosen around your event, brand or guest of honour. The signed canvas is presented at the close, or auctioned on the night, and the whole reveal is built for the cameras.
Dave has performed across China, Singapore, Romania, Sweden, Egypt, the USA, Canada, Iceland and Portugal — live on BBC Breakfast, How 2, This Morning and Blue Peter, and in front of icons including Lewis Hamilton, Robert De Niro, Steven Gerrard and Tyson Fury. His paintings are regularly auctioned at the events he performs at, raising over £900,000 for charity.
