Speed painting is a live painting performance — dynamic, theatrical, and timed to the room. Dave works a giant canvas in bold strokes to a soundtrack he chooses, building an image the audience can’t quite read.
Then the turn. What looked like chaos resolves in seconds into a portrait the whole room recognises. That’s the moment they remember.
Every performance is tailored — subject, timing, music and venue. Ten minutes is the average; it flexes to fit a conference slot, a half-time show, a charity auction lot or a broadcast opening title.

Dave Sharp has been performance painting for over a decade — from learning the craft in his parents’ garage and painting local events in his hometown, to stages across China, Singapore, Romania, Sweden, Egypt, the USA, Canada and Iceland.
A former Britain’s Got Talent performer, he’s raised over £900,000 for charity along the way — turning a fascination with celebrity, colour and light into a live act booked around the world.
